Help a Loving family find Safe housing
Hi folks!
Charlotte’s Legacy is working to help Elizabeth and her three young children get food, supplies, and safe housing. A brief backstory:
Following a string of unfortunate circumstances and familial disputes, Elizabeth was forced to move her three children from their home into a minivan. She never dreamt this would happen and it has been cramped, dirty, and scary to say the least.
While the kids’ father contributes what he can, his lone income is not nearly enough to support them all. Elizabeth’s mother has declined to help, and her father has financial problems of his own. Elizabeth is applying to any job that will take her, though she’s been a stay-at-home mom for the last 9 years, so employers are reluctant to hire.
Despite falling on hard times, Elizabeth has remained incredibly resilient and positive. She’s not ashamed to be candid with her situation and ask for help. When her children are not in school, they pass the time doing coloring books, assembling puzzles, and making trips to the beach.
That being said, they need your help with the following:
Monetary Donations Urgently Needed: TAX DEDUCTIBLE TO YOU and will go toward housing/gas/food/personal items/OTC necessities for the children + diapers for the youngest. Getting them into safe and stable housing while Elizabeth finds work is what her children need the most.
Clothing and supplies: If you’d prefer to donate specific items instead, a Target Wishlist will be added soon: NOTE: Charlotte's Legacy is unable to send you a Thank You donation letter for these items, but keep your receipt and you can use it as a write-off on your taxes.
